Saudi Arabia Work Visa

Saudi Arabia Work Visa

To work in Saudi Arabia, obtaining a residence permit (Iqama) is essential. The Iqama authorises employment for a designated period, usually up to two years. At Continental Visa, we provide comprehensive support throughout the work visa and Iqama application process, managing all requirements on your behalf. Once approved, you can travel to Saudi Arabia and commence your professional duties.

Work Visa Requirements

Securing a work visa in Saudi Arabia requires sponsorship from a local employer. Applicants must submit all necessary documentation, including the following:

Qualification Certificates

  • Verification is required for one academic or professional degree, not multiple qualifications.
  • This degree must be verified through the QVP system and attested by Mosadaqa.
  • For senior roles such as consultant, manager, specialist, or teacher, dual attestation is mandatory.
  • Some professions may only require QVP verification.
  • Certain roles are exempt from QVP and Mosadaqa verification with a No Objection Letter from your Saudi employer.

Note: There are a few professions that do not require QVP or Mosadaqa attestation. Please contact us for more information.

Academic Qualification Verification

QVP & Mosadaqa verification ensures your academic credential meets Saudi Embassy requirements.

Key Notes:

  • Only one attested degree (e.g., Bachelor’s degree) is required.
  • Standard verification takes 4–6 weeks; early preparation is recommended.

Required Documents for QVP:

  • Colour scan of passport identification page
  • Scanned copy of the chosen academic certificate
  • Scanned copy of transcript
  • Copy of job offer
  • Completed and signed consent form
  • Completed application form

Required Documents for Mosadaqa:

  • Scanned copy of passport identification page
  • Scanned copy of chosen academic award
  • Scanned copy of transcript
  • Completed and signed consent form
  • Completed application form

Additional Note:

  • Mosadaqa does not accept degrees from distance learning, online courses, or non-UK recognised institutions.
  • If your qualification has already been verified by the Saudi Cultural Office, Mosadaqa attestation is not required.

Police Clearance Certificate

  • Applicants must provide a current police clearance certificate (ACRO) attested by the FCDO. You can apply for your ACRO Police Certificate directly through the official link here:
  • Continental Visa can assist in obtaining and attesting your ACRO certificate.

Medical Report

  • A medical report from a licensed physician, attested by the FCDO, is required.
  • We provide full support, including arranging the medical examination and FCDO attestation.

Employment Contract

  • A signed contract from your Saudi employer, attested by both the Chamber of Commerce and MOFA, is compulsory.

Visa Block Number & E-Wakala (Power of Attorney)

  • Required from your employer or sponsor.
  • The E-Wakala must be registered under Tasheer.

Valid Passport
