Saudi Cultural Bureau Attestation

Mosadaqa Attestation From the UK — Saudi Cultural Bureau London

Mosadaqa is the official attestation of your Bachelor’s degree by the Saudi Cultural Bureau (Saudi Cultural Office) in London, and is required for most Saudi work visa applications. Our London-based consultancy manages your complete Mosadaqa submission — from document review to final attestation — including for both UK and non-UK Bachelor’s degrees.

What Is Mosadaqa Attestation?

Mosadaqa is the official authentication of your Bachelor’s degree by the Saudi Cultural Bureau (Saudi Cultural Office) in London. The Saudi Cultural Bureau is the Saudi government’s representative office for educational and cultural affairs in the United Kingdom, and its attestation confirms that your degree is recognised by Saudi authorities for employment, residence, and other official purposes.

Mosadaqa is a separate process from QVP. While both relate to your qualifications, they serve different purposes:

  • QVP verifies your degree and professional experience through the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) system
  • Mosadaqa attests your Bachelor’s degree only, through the Saudi Cultural Bureau in London

Most Saudi work visa applications require both QVP and Mosadaqa. We recommend starting both processes simultaneously to keep your overall timeline as short as possible.

Why Mosadaqa Matters

Without Mosadaqa attestation, the Saudi Embassy will not accept your Bachelor’s degree as valid for most work visa categories. Mosadaqa confirms:

  • Your degree is genuine and from a recognised institution
  • The institution is accredited by the relevant education authority in the country of issue

Mosadaqa — Key Points to Know Before Applying

Before submitting your Mosadaqa application, please review these important points. They will determine whether your degree is eligible and what supporting steps may be required.

Eligible Degrees

What Mosadaqa accepts
  • Bachelor's degrees from recognised institutions
  • Master's degrees (only after the Bachelor's is attested first)
  • PhD degrees (only after Bachelor's and Master's are attested first)
  • UK and non-UK degrees from accredited institutions
  • Standard on-campus full-time degree programmes

Not Accepted

What Mosadaqa cannot verify
  • Distance learning degrees
  • Online and remote-only degree programmes
  • Honorary degrees
  • Diploma, HND, and non-degree qualifications
Already verified by the Saudi Cultural Office? Mosadaqa is not mandatory if your degree has previously been verified by the Saudi Cultural Office through another route. We can confirm in writing whether your existing verification is sufficient, saving you unnecessary time and fees.

Attesting a Master’s or PhD Degree

It is not possible to attest a Master’s or PhD degree without first attesting the Bachelor’s degree. Mosadaqa works in sequence:

  • For a Master’s degree — we must first attest your Bachelor’s degree, then your Master’s
  • For a PhD degree — we must first attest your Bachelor’s, then your Master’s, then your PhD

Each level is a separate attestation with its own fee. If you have multiple degrees to attest, contact us for a combined-service quote and timeline.

Non-UK Degrees — What Happens?

If your Bachelor’s degree was issued outside the UK, we can still arrange Mosadaqa attestation. In some cases, the Saudi Cultural Bureau may require additional steps:

  • Legalisation from the issuing country — verification from the education ministry or foreign affairs office of the country where your degree was issued
  • Embassy attestation in that country — in some cases, attestation by the Saudi Embassy in the country of issue may also be required
  • Translation — certified translation of degree and transcript if not in English or Arabic

We assess each non-UK degree case individually and advise on the most efficient route. Please contact us with details of your institution and the country of issue for a tailored quote.

What You Need to Apply for Mosadaqa

The Mosadaqa application is simpler than QVP and requires only five documents. We will provide the consent and application forms once you confirm you’d like to proceed.

  • Passport identification page — colour scan of the page showing your photo and personal details
  • Bachelor’s degree certificate — scanned copy of your Bachelor’s degree (this is the document being attested)
  • Academic transcript — scanned copy of your full transcript of study covering your Bachelor’s programme
  • Mosadaqa consent form — completed and signed (we provide this template)
  • Mosadaqa application form — completed in full (we provide this template)

Document Quality Requirements

To avoid delays or rejection, please ensure your documents meet these standards:

  • All scans must be in colour (black-and-white scans are not accepted)
  • Documents must be clearly legible with no blurring or shadows
  • The full document must be visible — nothing cropped at the edges
  • Original documents must be genuine — we cannot process replicas or unverified copies
Lost or damaged original? If you have lost your original degree certificate, you will need to obtain a replacement or certified copy from your issuing university before applying for Mosadaqa. We can advise on the most appropriate route for your case.

Mosadaqa — Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common queries about Mosadaqa attestation. For specific questions about your case, please contact us directly.

  • What is Mosadaqa?

Mosadaqa is the official attestation of your Bachelor's degree by the Saudi Cultural Bureau (Saudi Cultural Office) in London. It confirms the authenticity of your degree for use in Saudi Arabia and is required for most Saudi work visa applications.

  • Do I need Mosadaqa for my Saudi work visa?

Yes, in most cases. Mosadaqa is required for most Saudi work visa applications. However, it is not mandatory if your Bachelor's degree has previously been verified by the Saudi Cultural Office through another route. Send us your details and we will confirm in writing whether you need Mosadaqa for your case.

  • Which degrees are accepted for Mosadaqa?

Mosadaqa attests Bachelor's degrees only. Both UK and non-UK Bachelor's degrees can be processed. Distance learning and online degrees are not accepted by Mosadaqa — only standard on-campus full-time degree programmes are eligible.

  • How much does Mosadaqa attestation cost?

Our Mosadaqa attestation service is £250. This is a fixed fee covering full management of the attestation process through the Saudi Cultural Bureau in London. For non-UK degrees, additional country-side legalisation costs may apply — we quote these separately.

  • How long does Mosadaqa take?

Mosadaqa attestation typically takes 4 to 6 weeks. We recommend starting the process as early as possible — ideally at the same time as your QVP application — to avoid delays to your overall Saudi work visa timeline.

  • What documents are required for Mosadaqa?

You'll need: a colour scan of your passport ID page, your Bachelor's degree certificate, your academic transcript, a signed Mosadaqa consent form, and a completed Mosadaqa application form (we provide both forms).

  • Can I get Mosadaqa for a non-UK degree?

Yes. We arrange Mosadaqa attestation for both UK and non-UK Bachelor's degrees. For non-UK degrees, additional steps may apply — such as legalisation from the country of issue or certified translation — depending on the institution. We assess each case individually and provide a tailored quote.

  • Is Mosadaqa the same as QVP?

No. QVP verifies your academic qualification and professional experience through the Saudi government's verification system. Mosadaqa is the official attestation of your Bachelor's degree by the Saudi Cultural Bureau. Most Saudi work visa applications require both.

  • Can I attest only my Master's or PhD without my Bachelor's?

No. It is not possible to attest a Master's or PhD degree without first attesting the Bachelor's degree. Mosadaqa works in sequence — for a Master's, we attest your Bachelor's first, then your Master's. For a PhD, we attest your Bachelor's, then Master's, then PhD. Each level is a separate attestation with its own fee.

  • My degree is from a distance learning programme — can I still apply?

Unfortunately, distance learning and online degrees are not accepted by the Saudi Cultural Bureau for Mosadaqa attestation. Only standard on-campus degree programmes are eligible. If you have a distance learning qualification, please contact us to discuss alternative routes.

  • Can Mosadaqa be expedited?

No. Mosadaqa processing is managed by the Saudi Cultural Bureau and the standard 4–6 week timeline cannot be expedited. We strongly recommend starting the process at the same time as your QVP application to keep your overall Saudi work visa timeline as short as possible.

  • What if my Mosadaqa is rejected?

If your Mosadaqa is rejected, we identify the cause (most commonly missing transcripts, low-quality scans, or unrecognised institutions) and assist with corrections and resubmission. Our pre-submission review significantly reduces the risk of rejection.

  • Do I need to attend the Saudi Cultural Bureau in person?

No. The Mosadaqa application can be managed entirely through us — you do not need to visit the Saudi Cultural Bureau in person. We submit, monitor, and collect your attested documents on your behalf.
